We believe every cat deserves a purrfect space to climb, scratch, and relax, and we lovingly handcraft each tree to be a stylish and practical piece of furniture.
About Di
Hi, I'm Di, the founder and creative mind behind Sophisticated Scratch. My love for cats and passion for design inspired me to create beautiful, handcrafted cat trees that enhance modern homes. As a lifelong cat lover, I understand the importance of providing our feline friends with spaces where they can feel safe and comfortable. That’s why I started Sophisticated Scratch—to create pieces that are as stylish as they are functional. I handcraft each piece with love and care in my Devon workshop using only the finest, sustainably sourced oak. I believe in quality over quantity, creating heirloom pieces that will last for years to come. When not crafting cat trees and scratchers, you'll find me exploring the beautiful Devon countryside with my dog Wrinkles or gardening with my Siamese, Sam. They're constant companions and my biggest inspiration.
